On February 13, 2014, the team at The Law Office of Janet McCullar, P.C. hosted their first annual charity fundraising event at one of Austin’s Warehouse District hotspots, Malverde. The event raised money to benefit the Helping Hand Home for Children, one of Austin’s oldest and most respected organizations that provide a “nurturing and therapeutic home for children who have suffered severe abuse and neglect”.

The event was held the week of Valentine’s Day and attendees were inspired to open their hearts by making donations to Helping Hand Home for Children. The guests were complimented with signature cocktails and small bites prepared by La Condesa. It was a lovely evening filled with great weather for lounging on the balcony and overlooking downtown Austin or mingling inside to contemporary sounds played by the DJ. Austinites gathered, friendships were sparked, and generosity resonated throughout the evening.

The team is very pleased to announce that, combined with the contribution matched by Janet McCullar Vavra, the First Annual Cocktails + Compassion Event raised $5,012.19 to benefit the Helping Hand Home for Children.
