Last weekend, Janet McCullar, Jake Gilbreath, and Sarah Whyte attended the Austin Bar Foundation’s 13th annual Gala in downtown Austin. They were among more than 500 attorneys in attendance who attended in support of the Foundation, which was specifically collecting funds for Austin Bar in Action’s Self-Represented Litigant Project and the Free Legal Advice Clinic for Veterans. The Law Office of Janet McCullar, P.C. was thrilled to provide a donation to support and expand these and other charitable and educational programs throughout Central Texas.
Funds raised through the Austin Bar Foundation’s annual Gala go to support legal services to low-income Texans, assistance to lawyers in need, and legal education programs. In addition, approximately $20,000 in grants goes towards legal-related programs each year. Their mission is to “advance the administration of justice, enhance the delivery of and access to quality legal services, and actively participate in the success of the Austin community at large.”
Our team had a wonderful time at this event. We encourage you to learn more about the Austin Bar Foundation by visiting the organization online at www.austinbar.org. There, you will learn more about their mission, programs, and services, and have an opportunity to make a donation.
